1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use SmartRR by USSD (*347*3090#), WhatsApp or the SmartRR mobile app, provided free by Big Family 360 Foundation ("BF360"). By using the service you agree to them.
2. What the service is
SmartRR collects reports of electoral violence, gender-based violence linked to political participation, voter intimidation and threats to civic space, and refers verified reports to institutions such as INEC, FIDA, SARCs and the Police.
3. Not an emergency service
We cannot respond in real time. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the Police or emergency services directly.Submitting a report does not guarantee any action by an institution.
4. Human review
Every report is reviewed by a moderator before it is published or counted publicly. Automated checks may flag reports for attention but do not approve, reject or publish them. See Responsible AI. Moderators may approve, correct, route or withhold a report and must record a reason.
5. Your responsibilities
- Report truthfully and in good faith.
- Do not submit false, malicious, defamatory or duplicate reports, or reports meant to harass a person or group.
- Do not include other people's personal details unless needed to describe the incident.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the service.
We may withhold reports and block numbers that break these rules.
6. Institution users
Institution accounts may use reports only for their official duties, must keep them confidential, and must record the response they take.
7. Costs
The service is free from BF360. Your network or data provider may charge for USSD sessions or WhatsApp data.
8. Intellectual property
The SmartRR name, logo, app and website content belong to BF360. Do not copy, modify or reverse-engineer them without permission.
9. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the service running but depend on third parties such as mobile networks, Africa's Talking and Meta. To the extent allowed by law, BF360 is not liable for delays, outages, or actions or inaction by institutions that receive reports.

11. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will post the new date here. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
